    EAA Chapter 96
 Welcome to EAA Chapter 96
 Friday, September 10 2010 @ 03:43 PDT

We are the South Bay chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association with members based at the Compton, Torrance, Hawthorne and Long Beach airports. We get together the third Saturday of every month at the Chapter 96 Hangar at Compton Airport at 10:00AM. The address is 1017 W. Alondra Blvd., between Wilmington Ave and Central Ave. Click Here for a map.

If you are considering learning how to fly, building your own plane or just looking for some fun people to talk to about flying, please come to our next general meeting which happens on the third Saturday of each month.

We have quite a variety of aircraft that are being built in our hangar. There is a Glastar, a BD-4, 2 Pietenpols, an FEW P-51 Mustang, an RV-7 and a Zenith Zodiac that are all in various stages of construction. We also have 2 Aeroncas that are in for restoration, as well as a flyable RV-4 and a Cozy IV. Come on in to see them!

We also have Build Space Available in our Hangar

Phone numbers and E-mail addresses of some of our members are on the Officers and Advisors page if you would like to contact one of us for more information. We look forward to seeing you at the airport!
